This is the online application form for the 2025 Obermayer Awards. The deadline for nominations is Monday, July 1, 2024 at 6 pm ET.
The Awards honor Germans who have documented, commemorated, and breathed new life into Jewish communities that were destroyed by the Nazis. The Awards also honor innovators who have found creative ways to use the lessons of this history to foster understanding among different groups and to oppose contemporary bigotry.
The 2025 ceremony will mark the 25th year the Obermayer Awards have been presented. We see this as an important milestone and a beacon of hope and solidarity in what can otherwise be viewed as an uncertain moment in history. We steadfastly look forward to recognizing another group of awardees and celebrating their work.
How To Nominate
Thank you for your interest in the Obermayer Awards. Before you begin, it’s very important to read our Guidelines for Nomination and FAQs. This document will provide an overview of the nomination process, answer many of your questions, and provide some samples for key elements of the final submission.
